GBA
All of my GBA projects were written from scratch in 100% ARM assembly language. If you are not lucky enough to have a GBA flash cart, you will need an emulator. Several are available including VisualBoyAdvance and No$gba.
Alien Breed (Approx. 70% Complete)
Alien Breed, possibly the only reason there is, or ever was to buy an Amiga. It's a simple and addictive game which is often said to be a blatent rip off of the Alien film license but who cares, it's a classic. For the GBA conversion, I ripped the tile sets from the PC version and wrote a map editor in Blitz BASIC, I then mapped each level using screen grabs from the game running under WinUAE. It took a while.
This project was shelved for two reasons, 1, my flash linker packed up which meant that I could no longer test my code on hardware, and 2, the bottom dropped out of the GBA homebrew world. Everyone seemed to go over to DS development. If I ever get my hands on another flash linker kit, I will finish this if only for my own use.
I have not posted a demo rom because the code, although at an fairly advanced stage of development, is still rather modular, i.e. the front end is done (title screen needs work still), you can walk around (but without walls) or you can access the computer but only using switches in the code at present.
I will upload these parts later as seperate roms if anyone is interested.

Android 2 (Complete)
Originally released on the ZX Spectrum by Vortex software in 1983 and written by Costa Panayi. The graphic style of this game suits the Spectrum perfectly and remains one of my favourite Spectrum games.

Barbarian (95% Complete - just requires AI)
I have never been a great fan of fighting games because I find them a bit boring on the hole but Barbarian had something new to offer. It granted you the ability to decapitate your opponent!. Magic, and it has only been surpassed by the bouncing breasts in Dead Or Alive. Anyway, I was disapointed with the Amiga version so I thought it needed updating. I have yet to complete it though, since the source code wound up in storage for a year and a bit but I have now got it back and will finish this project as sson as I get the time.

Deathchase (Approx. 60% Complete)
Another ZX Spectrum masterpiece, this time written by Mervin Estcourt. I went a bit overboard with this, I have included several different backgrounds. You race through green fields, the desert and even snow(?). The graphics are all rendered 3D models.

Parsec (Approx 30% Complete)
I bought a TI99/4A from Dixons prior to buying my Spectrum, and I also got this cartridge. I thought it was fantastic, arcade quality infact. The TI was a good machine but, from a programming point of view at least, a bit on the naff side. Extended BASIC, which gave you hardware sprites, was another £40 or so and a must buy really but I didn't, I bought a Speccy instead. Anyway, this version of Parsec doesn't look anything like the original but I was happy with my gfx until someone told me it looks like a Robin Reliant!.

River Rescue (Approx. 30% Complete)
Originally released by Thorn EMI but later re-released on several budget labels, River Rescue was another of my favourite ZX Spectrum titles. It is a simple little game, you travel up the river, pick up people from the top bank and deposit them on the bottom bank while avoiding, or shooting any obstructions. Initially, obstructions take the form of floating logs, crocodiles and islands, later in the game aicraft drop mines.

Vero Design Advance (Complete)
A CAD package for the GBA!. I wrote this when I was working in Cambridge and living in a caravan with little else to do. Designs can be saved to the non-volatile, battery backed RAM on the GBA cartridge (or to a file if running under a PC emulator).
